Project 6: Mexico, Central and South America

 

The sixth project of the "around the world" tour that 7th and 8th graders take is focused on Mexico, Central and South America. Students will use the links below to take a virtual tour of this region of the world. Students will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of subjects in Mexico, Central and South America that may include any or all of the following: Artists; Art & Objects; Materials, Techniques and Processes; Places; People; Culture and Traditions; Food; Landscapes; Cityscapes; Nature; Wildlife. Students will then create a piece of art that is inspired by and reflects subjects, techniques, materials, or processes unique to Mexico, Central and South America.
